Over the course of his 14 year career as an attorney, Rhett has been blessed to develop a practice with two distinct areas of expertise. First, Rhett is an experienced and successful trial attorney, having served as first chair in numerous jury trials and arbitration hearings in a wide variety of cases, including cases involving securities fraud, medical malpractice, and personal injury. Rhett’s experience defending Fortune 500 companies, major medical providers and health care systems and national insurance carriers provides him with unique insight that make him a powerful advocate for the clients he serves at Bodewell. Second, Rhett has significant experience in representing individuals and companies in the development, acquisition and sale of commercial property. Since 2020, Rhett has served as counsel of record in commercial real estate transactions with a combined value of more than $30 million dollars, and he regularly advises his clients on a wide range of commercial real estate related matters, including landlord-tenant disputes, zoning issues, build-to-suit transactions and real estate centered joint venture and development agreements.
